Cookies Policy

Every cookie we set, what it does and how to change your mind.

Trade Nest Stays is a trading name of Maine Property Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16187542, with its registered office at Office 1, Izabella House, 24-26 Regent Place, Birmingham B1 3NJ ("we", "us", "our").

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies this website uses. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains everything else we do with personal data.

The short version

We set two kinds of thing on your device. Strictly necessary ones make the site work and are always on, because the site cannot function without them. Analytics ones tell us how the site is used.

We do not set analytics cookies unless you agree. When you first arrive you are asked to choose. Nothing beyond the strictly necessary is set until you accept and if you reject, none is set at all. You can change your choice whenever you like and rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, we do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell your data.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as local and session storage, do much the same job. Where this policy says "cookies" it means both.

A first-party cookie is set by this website. A third-party cookie is set by another company whose service we use.

Strictly necessary — always on

These are needed for the site to work, or to deliver something you have asked for. They do not need your consent and they cannot be switched off here.

Analytics — only if you agree

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, so we can improve it. These are not set unless you accept them.

What Google Analytics tells us is aggregated: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are, what device and browser they use and which site they arrived from. We do not use it to target advertising — this site loads no advertising or remarketing tags at all.

These durations are Google’s published defaults for Google Analytics rather than values we have measured on your device. Google may change them or set further cookies if it changes its product. We review this list whenever we change what the site loads.

Other services that load with our pages

These do not set cookies on your device, but they do involve another company receiving a request from your browser — which includes your IP address. We list them because you should know they happen.

Service What happens When
Google FontsOur typefaces are served by Google, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads. No cookie is set.Every page load
FormSubmitDelivers our enquiry forms to our inbox. It receives what you type into the form. No cookie is set on your device by us for this.Only when you submit a form
WhatsApp (Meta)If you tap a WhatsApp link you leave our site and Meta handles your message and number under its own terms.Only if you tap the link

Changing or withdrawing your choice

You can change your mind at any time and it is as easy as giving consent in the first place.

  • Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. This reopens the same panel you saw when you arrived, showing what you currently allow.
  • Withdrawing consent stops any further analytics cookies being set and we delete the ones already on your device.
  • Withdrawing does not make what happened while consent was in place unlawful, but it stops it going forward.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones may stop parts of the site working, including remembering that you rejected analytics.

If you would rather not rely on us

Google also publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics on every site you visit, at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. That is an extra option, not how we ask for your consent — on this site nothing is set unless you accept it here.
