Put your property to work for the people who build things.
Contractor crews, site teams and project staff need whole homes near the job. If you own the kind of property they need, there are four ways to work with us, from hosting them yourself to handing the whole thing over.
How it works
Four ways to work with us
Host working guests yourself
List with Trade Nest Stays, set your own price and accept or reject every booking. There is no upfront fee and commission is only taken on completed bookings.
Take a fixed monthly sum
Our group's property company, Maine Property Solutions, takes the property on a company let agreement and pays you the same market value rent every month.
Hand over the running
Maine Property Solutions manages the property for you as serviced accommodation, from the listing to the cleaning and the monthly statement.
Sell without a listing
Register the property for a quiet sale to investors. No board, no portal and no fee to you.
Worth knowing
The property crews ask for
Working guests book differently from holidaymakers. The homes that suit them tend to share a few things.
- A whole house or flat rather than a room, so a crew can stay together
- Off-street parking for vans and trailers
- Separate beds, not a sofa bed, for every person on the booking
- A washing machine, a dryer or somewhere to dry work clothes
- Reliable broadband for the engineers who report in every evening
- A short drive to the motorway, the site or the industrial estate

Your questions
Questions owners ask
Which route should I choose?
It depends on how involved you want to be. Hosting keeps you in control of price and dates. A company let gives you one fixed figure with nothing to manage. Management sits between the two. A sale releases the capital.
Do I need to live near the property?
No. Many owners live elsewhere. What matters is that the property is ready for working guests and that someone deals with repairs quickly.
What does it cost to talk to you?
Nothing. There is no fee to ask and nothing to sign until you have chosen a route and read the terms.
How is the rent set on a company let?
Maine Property Solutions only pays market value rent: what comparable homes nearby let for, agreed in writing before anything is signed.
Can I change route later?
Often, yes. Owners start by hosting and move to a fixed monthly sum, or the other way round. The terms of each arrangement say how and when.
Own something a crew would want to stay in?
Send the details to Maine Property Solutions for the fixed-sum, management and sale routes, or apply to host it yourself.
